For purchases from us you have the right of withdrawal. Details of this right can be found in our cancellation policy.

RETURNS / RETURNS


Your satisfaction is important to us. In order to be able to offer you good prices in the future too, it is important to avoid returns. Less returns will save your wallet and the environment. This only works with your support. Returns are a very time-consuming and costly process for us! If, for once, you do not like an article or it does not meet your requirements, you may of course return it within 14 days. To ensure a smooth return process, please note the following steps:

1.     Carefully package returns

Please pack the goods carefully for shipping. Avoid damage and contamination. If possible, send the goods back to us in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. Please enclose the delivery note or a copy of the invoice, on which you please mark the returned items as such (eg with an "R").

Please make sure you have sufficient clearance and take the parcel to the post office or parcel shop of your choice.

3.     Refund

As soon as we have received your return, we will process it. The refund of the purchase price will be made within a maximum of 14 days using the same payment method used for this order. The costs for the return are not covered by us. For certain returns, we will refund you a shipping fee of 3.95 euros, namely, if at least one purchased item has cost 40 euros.

Basically, you can send us your returns within the cancellation period. Please pay attention to sufficient clearance. Shipments with unpaid postage cause us more than 19 EUR with DHL and if this shipment returns to you because of non-acceptance, you pay even 25 EUR.

Note: If you made the purchase with your credit card, the refund will be credited to your credit card account. Depending on the credit card company, it may take up to four weeks for the credit to be reflected in your account. It might also be possible that the credit will not be on the same bill, but on the following one.

WARRANTY

If a wrong or a defective product has been delivered, each customer has not only the right of withdrawal but also the statutory right to warranty. This means that the dealer can repair the goods or deliver again. The right also exists if the goods were damaged during transport. The legal warranty for our products is two years. Before returning defective goods, please contact us to discuss the procedure.

Normal wear and tear, such as scratches, paint chips due to use and bumps are not covered by our warranty.

The following problems are a manufacturer defect:

  • Small holes: Stainless steel bottles and cans are welded by hand and in very rare cases, a small hole is created at the weld seam so that liquid can leak in the smallest amounts. This is covered by the warranty.
  • Damage: If the bottle or can comes with bumps, scratches or similar defects, it will of course be replaced immediately. Please check the packaging to see if the damage has been caused by shipping.
  • Rough welds: All seams in a Klean Kanteen bottle are soft and polished. If the bottle has a rough seam, this is a defect.
  • Peeling paint: peeling paint is normal wear and tear, eg. if the bottle is dropped roughly on hard surfaces, this is not covered by the warranty. However, should the varnish detach over a large area for no apparent reason, this is a defect covered by the warranty.

CO2 NEUTRAL SHIPPING

Although our shipping costs are very low anyway (from a value of 40 EUR we deliver quickly and for free within Germany), we choose the climate-neutral "GoGreen" premium shipping of DHL and DPD "Classic climate neutral". We believe that this is currently the best choice.

ECOLOGICAL SHIPPING PACKAGING

Our packages do without unnecessary packaging frills and furbelows. No colorful printed boxes, no PVC tapes, no filling materials, just the ordered goods and wrapping paper. If the goods were once packed in plastic by one of our suppliers, we will receive this packaging and continue to use it. However, most of our manufacturers pack their goods extremely energy efficient and avoid unnecessary transport routes. However, we influence all suppliers long-term to refrain from using plastic if there is a sensible alternative.

WE DO NOT DO EVERY FASHION

In our view, not every trend is really meaningful, let alone sustainable. In our opinion, only what can still exist in many years, has the right to claim scarce resources today. So we expect from our products an optimal longevity, a responsible manufacturing process and a high utility that goes beyond fashion and time.

WE TAKE RECYCLING SERIOUSLY

All shipping packaging, outer packaging and return packaging are recycled 100%. Returned products, which are no longer suitable for sale, we donate regularly to selected charitable organizations.
